Context

An anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and human-centered approach was central to the communications strategy of The 519. The flagship annual reports needed to effectively communicate the work across a complex mix of stakeholders, including members, government, donors, and partners, while holding the context in view.

What I did

  • Led four consecutive annual reports.

  • Shaped the narrative, editorial structure, and organizational storytelling.

  • Brought together program activity, community context and organizational priorities into accessible communications while building a repeatable workflow.

A consistent annual storytelling approach for communicating The 519’s work, priorities and public role.
